Just my place where I can put what I want, and read what people think about what I said.

I have been on Bungie.net recently and I have to tell you that the Halo 3 foruma and the flood forum has the biggest number of flamers, complainers, and idiots on any internet site. Their are some good people but not that many. Bungie should really take a look at our forums.

Yea, these forums tend to be much more sophisticated than most forums, including those belonging to Bungie. When I first got Halo 3 I went to the forums to see what people were talking about there. Let's just say I decided to not comment on what other people lest I become involved in a flame war. It's so much nicer when the community of the game aren't all immature. Note:(Not all people on Bungie forums are immature, just the vast majority of them)

yeah i never bother with the forum there is no reason to any ways. The only thing its good for is putting file share stuff on and thats not always worth it. As for the halo series. Microsoft has already confirmed bungie is working on a halo game but bungie was forced to delay its announcement because microsoft didnt want them to steal the thunder from all the other games comming out.

Nice to see Bungie is doing a good job on this.

well, kind of.  they are making Halo Legacy (supposedly, I've only heard this from my brother) and Halo Wars (this is definitely coming out - its a RTS based on the Spirit of Fire, a UNSC warship, yet it is based planetside somehow).

I guess you have not been to the gears of wars or the chromehounds forums.  Those two places are pretty nasty.  Chromehounds has a very small crowd and perhaps the worst.  I liked that game, however, if you lost to some one you got spammed with messages and your reputation took a hit, and if you won it would happen.  If you decided to not play them at all the same would happen.  Plus they would come on the forum and cry about it.

Don't forget the "lag shield" the so called top players would use. Basicly you upload and donwload some large files on your computer while playing the game. Lag up close was pretty bad, but you could still damage them.  However, sniper fire and splash damage over any distance was pointless.  You could pound the guy and have him take no damage.  Then 5 min later watch him just explode for no reason, damage finally caught up.

The game also had so many network problems.  You could play a game of say 6 on 6. Everyone one except the host would see some one drop from the game.  So you figure hey its now a 6 on 5.  Next thing you know you lost because you base just exploded buy the ghost guy.  (yes only the host could still see him did not matter which team the host was on).  Then don't foget the disscountect crap.  People did not want to loose points for loosing a game and they would just disscount from the game so it would not be counted. If the host left the game ended.  Sure some of the no name teams would take advantage of this, but most of the time it was the elite teams that did this.  Yes most of the top guys where infact very good players but any time a lessor person had the upper hand boom here goes the cheating.

Sorry to still your thunder, but the bungie forums were many steps above chromehounds.

Don't get me wrong, I know what you mean by bungie.  I did not do much in the forums, because it was very annoying.  I am acutlly really into Halo.  The multiplayer was a lot of fun, but the community is so bad I just don't like putting up with it unless I have had enoght to drink.  Have you ever done the chromehounds thing? If you never had you would not know what i mean.  Halo was like a blessing compared to that.  And knowing how bad halo and bungie are really says something.
