I bought Diplomacy (the computer game) for 5 dollars, is it worth it?

I bought diplomacy the computer game for 5 bucks at a store and I have one question for it before I open it (so I can return it if it's bad). Is it a good game and worth the 5 bucks? I read some reviews and they were not that promising but I still want to hear want people think.

Go with the board game if you are interested. It's very complex and requires a dedicated group of people (e-mail is the way to go).

Still, I think there are better options out there for you whether a board game (see here) or a pc game.

The board game can be pretty fun...But it is also a good way to lose friends, especially since backstabbing is pretty much required in the game.

The board game can be pretty fun...But it is also a good way to lose friends, especially since backstabbing is pretty much required in the game.

Not so much that as after you've manipulated everyone so many times, they just gang up and kill you off first
